Contract Administrator  

 

Oversee contract administration related functions. The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment and will report to the Construction Accounting Supervisor and Controller. 

  

  • Oversee contract agreements through the full lifecycle including contract review and execution.
  • Review contract documents to ensure adherence to company policy, customer specification, and conformance to agreements in accordance with legal requirements
  • Prepare and execute subcontracts agreements.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met for all subcontract vendors
  • Promptly respond to inquiries regarding contractual obligations and revisions
  • Submit weekly certified payroll reports. 
  • Coordinate with internal/external contacts to confirm requirements and handle certified payroll issues promptly to avoid payment holds.  
  • Order certificates of insurance and ensure the COI’s comply with company standards.
  • Order bid and performance bonds upon notice of newly awarded projects.
  • Monitor and submit pre-qualification paperwork annually.
  • Assist the accounting department and estimating team with various projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

 

 

  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office (Word and Excel), Outlook e-mail.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to meet individual deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with a team to help them meet deadlines.

 

 

Work Requirements

 

  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 requirement
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers with other duties as required
  • Strictly adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability and desire to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Internal and external customer service oriented is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to nature of working environment

 

Education/Experience 

 

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Requires proficient use of office equipment, Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and the ability to work with various software programs which support business functions. 
  • Ability to meet individual deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with a team to help them meet deadlines.
