The Dispatcher Customer Service Rep will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound communications to and from internal and external customers in a detailed, timely and professional manner. This role will involve order entry responsibilities and the management of our delivery schedule. This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of Customer Service functions including, but not limited to, the following:


Main Objectives:

  • Receiving inbound calls from customers and entering orders into our point of sale.
  • Order entry accuracy to avoid delays and financial loss
  • Utilize dispatching software and GPS tracking software
  • Monitor deliveries to ensure demands are met while maintaining efficiency
  • Communicate with Operations Team on changes and future needs
  • Notify customers in advance of late deliveries or delays in service
  • Keep the Customer Service/Dispatch Manager and Sales Department informed of problems or concerns throughout the day that may require their knowledge or attention
  • Compile daily trucking demands from all stakeholders
  • Scheduling internal and external drivers for deliveries.
  • Reliable attendance is required
  • This position is considered "Safety Sensitive"
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Who you are:

  • High School Diploma
  • Prefer 2 years of dispatch or call center experience
  • Ability to interact and clearly communicate with internal and external personnel, customers and supporting agencies.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and computer skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized and team focused
  • Ability to be flexible
