<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Position Summary:

<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The incumbent will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of an effective and efficient recruitment processes for Ontario. In addition, the successful candidate may participate in the project to enhance and automate the Talent Acquisition process.   

<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Drive the delivery and improvement of an effective and efficient recruitment process;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Manage recruiting efforts: job profiles/descriptions, job posting/advertisement, identify, screen, interview and refer applicants to hiring managers for placements;  
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Main point of contact for all candidates’ correspondence
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Maintain the background check process to completion
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Support management with the final selection process and preparing job offer letters;  
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for new employees
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management to understand recruitment profiles, workforce planning and staffing needs;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Maintain recruitment data and records;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Execute the recruitment process for large seasonal recruitment  cycles
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Execute the implementation of a best-in-class campus recruitment strategy
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Prepare for, conduct and attend career fairs, on-campus events, and networking events
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Work with the HR Service Centre to coordinate new hires
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Administrative Duties as assigned

<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Criteria:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">University degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and acquired work experience.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Previous working experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Excellent understating of the full cycle recruitment processes
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Effectively juggle and manage varying requirements – must be a multi-tasker
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Ability to effectively communicate
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Customer-service orientation with high energy and passion
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (word, excel, project)
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Previous experience with Successfactors or similar recruiting software preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Sound knowledge and experience in recruitment and selection processes and governing employment practices
