Job Summary

Leviat is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will join our growing finance team and will take ownership of vendor payments.  The right candidate will be determined to achieve effective and seamless support of business operations, including timely and accurate payments, statement reconciliations, responding to internal and external inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to meet company goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Full cycle accounts payable: vendor invoice processing for multiple plant locations, vendor set up, 3-Way PO matching and reconciling
• Monitor vendor statements and provide payment status updates on a weekly basis
• Coordinate receipt of new vendor documentation and submission
• Goods Received not Invoiced Report reconciliation
• Monitor shared email queue consisting of invoices, statements, and inquiries
• Prepare check run files and obtains appropriate authorization and signatures
• Process credit applications for vendors
• Maintain excellent internal and external customer relations
• Perform other general accounting projects and tasks as assigned
• Provide general administrative and clerical support
• Assist with month-end closing

Job Requirements

• Must have 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
• ERP Experience, SAP experience a plus
• Experience with multiple cost centers and facilities highly desired
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Proficient in MS office with intermediate skill level in Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Dedication to accuracy and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of accounting and internal controls
