The role is responsible for developing and implementing procedures, processes and continuous improvement initiatives to facilitate consistency of approach, execution and accountability across the organization. Collaboration and change agent skills will be leveraged heavily in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work as a functional lead on the implementation procurement standards and processes globally
  • Support procurement and business teams in the gathering, cleansing and analysis of data relevant to procurement activities
  • Work in a cross-functional role that will be involved in various areas of the business and systems development and standardization of approaches across the company
  • Document and further develop procurement processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the procurement activities
  • Work in close collaboration with procurement personnel from across company to ensure and support implementation of the same supply chain standards and processes globally
  • Develop documentation and oversee procurement process management systems (document management, supplier management, supplier corrective action, training, reporting, etc.)
  • Lead workshops and improvement projects to encompass current state understanding, future state definition, solutions/roadmap development and implementation.
  • Assist with development of solutions to pull data and information from existing systems and provide them in a useable form to category managers and key stakeholders.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain, business or related field.
  •  Experience in procurement function with experience in process, and program development and implementation.
  • Strong change management and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of P2P processes
  • Project management and process improvement experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Experience rolling out SAP
  • Lean six sigma background and quality management system experience desired
