Position Overview

 

This position involves working with the Mining Engineer to complete various task including but not limited to:

 

  • Keeping  mining plans current and up to date
  • Analyze deposits at pits and quarry locations
  • Survey stockpiles
  • Mine permitting
  • Any duty assigned per supervisor

Education and/or Experience

 

·         Currently enrolled in a Mining Engineering Program at College or University.

 

Language Skills

 

·         Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.

 

Mathematical Skills

 

·         Basic Math

 

Reasoning Ability

 

·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

 

Computer Skills

 

·         Microsoft Suite package

·         AutoCAD and Carlson software a plus

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

 

·         Valid driver’s is required.

 

Other Skills and Abilities

 

Ability to speak a Spanish language a plus
