Position Overview
This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of office support functions. Shift hours will be approximately 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Typing, filing, data entry, copying, preparing, shipping and distributing courier packages, composition and editing correspondence.
- Answer inquiries about the company.
- Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
- Route calls to specific people.
- Take and relay messages
- Ensure lobby and breakroom are clean and presentable, ensuring the spaces are inviting and professional.
- Keep both the breakroom and lobby well stocked with essentials.
- Operate office equipment including but not limited to, telephone system, computers, copiers, fax machines, printers, etc.
- Coordinate mail flow in and out of office.
- Prepare outgoing mailings and shipments.
- Schedule room requests and ensure calendar is updated.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
- Knowledge of basic office practices and protocol.
- Keep Blue Stakes updated and in compliance.
- Enter outside material purchases into Viewpoint for intercompany projects
- Other Duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recruiting experience preferred
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write clearly and effectively.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instruction.
- Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have (or be able to quickly gain) knowledge of Internet software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other company related programs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 25 lbs.
