This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a wide variety of accounting, purchasing, and office support functions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Track, monitor, and verify delivery of purchased items with local contacts.

Process receipt of packing slips, tickets, bill of laden, and other delivery documents

Reconcile delivery discrepancies, process returns, and resolve invoice troubleshoots.

Ensure that receipt documents are scanned and archived.

Monitor the aging of open purchase orders to ensure they are processed or closed in a timely manner.

Will work closely with purchase agents, accounts payable, vendors and will perform prompt customer service.

Hours of operation are 8-5 Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED required.  Minimum of two years accounting or purchasing experienced is required.


 Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write correspondence. Ability to fluently speak and write the English language.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.  Experience with Viewpoint, Proactis, and OnBase preferred.  Minimum typing speed of 60wpm.
