Position Overview
Reporting into the Director of Human Resources, the Hourly Recruiter acts as hiring lead for hourly openings. This position will work directly with hiring managers and HR business partners in managing the full recruitment cycle for hourly positions across Pennsy Supply, Inc. This includes developing partnerships with the business and HR, while supporting the business in talent identification, attraction, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage job postings from start to finish, ensuring appropriate opening and closing of searches, including: intake, posting, screening, coordinating interviews, creating and presenting offers, and dispositioning and communicating to non-selected candidates.
- Build relationships with internal customers to ensure the ability to influence, guide, and drive the recruiting process.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to clearly define staffing needs and advising on best hiring strategy.
- Support in driving accountability within the hiring team, strong communication, and efficient and sound decision making throughout the recruiting process.
- Conduct candidate screenings to help assess technical baseline, as well as organization and role fit.
- Drive focus on great candidate experience in all candidate interactions.
- Consult with hiring managers on assessment of candidates.
- Manage the interview, selection and offer processes within appropriate timelines.
- Ensure all legally required processes and practices are carried out throughout the recruiting process.
- Work effectively with recruiting service center partners as needed.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate sufficiently to be able to convey and exchange ideas, and to give and receive detailed verbal instructions.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
