Job Summary

 

Responsible for promoting masonry products, packaged cement mixes, and repair products to architects, contractors, retail dealers, distributors, and installers.  The geographical area where these products will be sold is Jacksonville and other fringe markets.       

 

  • Implement planned sales strategies to gain new market share, increase top line sales growth, increase profitability, improve customer product mix & foster solid business relationships.
  • Responsible for the overall sales function of multiple product lines.
  • Responsible for identifying and prospecting for new customers.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of industry trends & competitive information
  • Regularly conduct product demonstrations with contractor trade in an effort to introduce new products and enhance demand through dealer network
  • Handle the day-to-day activities ranging from pricing, sales quotes, product inquiries & customer complaints while striving to exceed our customer’s expectations.
  • Prepare detailed & timely reports concerning sources of growth, share of wallet, sales forecasts, business expenses, monthly sales call activity, market surveys, new account development plans & lost account recovery plans to support the operation of the territory
  • Effectively interact with customer service & operations to have a general knowledge of production, inventory, and dispatch with the ultimate goal of satisfying our customers
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, developers and customers to develop sales and specifications
  • Create “brand demand” in the commercial markets we service by increasing product awareness with the owner-architect-engineer-contractor-dealer team


Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, training and education
  • Five years related experience managing a multi-million dollar territory
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High sense of urgency with entrepreneurial qualities
  • Ability to navigate through a Customer Relationship Management platform.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to set up booths at trade shows
  • Reside in the Jacksonville, FL area.
