  • Experience in hands on Leading a team of people required.
  • Experienced in Labor and manufacturing jobs an asset



  • Night shift – between the hours of 7:00 pm to 5:30 am Monday to Friday for 8 to 10 hours
  • Room for flexibly with schedule
  • Occasional Saturdays



  • Encompass best practices in all aspects of safety policies and procedures
  • Supervise all department staff while working closely with management
  • Provide exemplary customer service to co-workers while working in a team environment
  • Prioritize and organize the department's daily output requirements for the day


REPORTS TO: Operations manager and Plant Supervisor

  • Plan and manage the day to day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets
  • Lead the team by communicating positively with staff, co-workers, and managers
  • Review all compliance paperwork to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition
  • Review the AS400 ERP system for lates, re-cuts, and rush requests and communicate responsibility to the plant floor
  • Responsible for plant administrative duties which will include employee reviews, disciplinary action, termination, interviews and associated documentation
  • Assist in managing inventory or supply levels to ensure minimum requirements are on hand
  • Loading and unloading glass will require crane operation and/or manual lifting
  • Operate forklift as required
  • Responsible for all aspects of training new employees



  • Possess guidance and coaching leadership skills
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a part of a team
  • Responsiveness to change in priorities and immediate demands
  • Possess organizational skills and remain calm under pressure
  • Requires experience in a supervisory role
  • Maximum manual lifting requirement of up to 50- 75 lbs
