A manufacturing maintenance technician  is required for our Langley B.C. facility. Experience with glass processing machinery is an asset. The successful candidate requires experience within a maintenance environment. Experience with CNC and PLC controlled machinery is preferred.
•    This is a Full-Time role, Monday to Friday with 8-hour night shifts starting 6:00pm – 2:30am
•    Occasional weekend work when needed
•    Wages are based on experience
•    Previous experience is not required, we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude towards learning the business
•    All specialty training provided - (Cranes, Forklifts, OFA, CNC Operators and much more)
•    Must have reliable transportation – Not located near public transit

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Diagnose machinery problems and perform all repairs required
•    Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks accurately
•    Complete all necessary documentation daily
•    Work closely with the production team to solve manufacturing problems in an efficient manner
•    Organized and work in a safe efficient manner
•    Possess a solid work ethic
•    Keep equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
•    Work under tight and crucial deadlines

•    Problem solving, critical thinking and good diagnostic skills
•    Take ownership and responsibility
•    Good body and eye coordination
•    Planning and organizational skills
•    Great team player mindset
•    A good understanding of the manufacturing maintenance environment
•    English language, written and verbal
•    Able to work well with others
•    Proficient computer skills
•    Able to work possible rotating shifts and weekends

 

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Must have experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
•    Valid driver’s license – will be required to drive mobile equipment on site
•    Compensation: Negotiable and dependent on experience
