PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Maintenance Implementation Manager will lead, innovate, and drive change by reinforcing best practices in fixed plant maintenance. This role focuses on driving maintenance excellence, improving reliability, and fostering a strong workplace culture through frontline training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will report to VP of Plant Performance & Capital Strategy.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Promote and ensure application of maintenance best practices proven methods, technologies, and training and mentorship
- Provide guidance to Operational Services Team including daily process problem solving and measurement activities that enable continuous plant operations.
- Serve as primary point of contact for integrating and reinforcing:
- Fixed Plant Maintenance Fundamentals
- Fixed Plant Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- Identify immediate concerns and recommend mitigation measures within the maintenance process.
- Use the maintenance process to inform and support continuous improvement
- Travel across multiple sites weekly to conduct workshops and support projects
- Develop/Oversee Maintenance Management System by establishing site specific KPI systems (leading & lagging indicators)
- Help create/improve Maintenance documentation processes. Be binding element between IT & site leadership
- Track and maintain system of record with all assets and maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled (Examples: PEAK2, SAP, Viewpoint, Excel, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between Maintenance Champions and Performance Committee
- Formalize and facilitate routine scheduled meetings with site leadership to drive success from key value areas for progress tracking
- Effective communication to ensure correct information is collected, analyzed, reported, and measured.
- Strong ability to drive engagement
- Highly organized with strong time and process management skills
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in the operational or project coordinator role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in providing support for heavy manufacturing, aggregate, ready-mix and asphalt manufacturing preferred.
- 2 or more years’ experience managing or supervising others
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including MS Excel, Word, Access, and Project
- Demonstrated experience in collaboration, organizational savvy, project management, driving results
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check;
- Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical;
- Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document;
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times;
- Report to work at the designated start time;
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required;
- Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary;
- Be able to work overtime when required;
- Maintain current driver’s license that meets state requirements;
- Have a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company standards;
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook;
- Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required;
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and / or MSHA;
- Be at least age 18 years of age due to nature of working environment; and
- Previous related experience in construction field is preferred.
