We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our team at a crushing terminal quarry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of crushing equipment, conveyors, screens, and other quarry-related machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on crushing and screening equipment.

·       Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

·       Weld and fabricate components as needed for equipment repair or modification.

·       Maintain and repair conveyor belts, motors, gearboxes, and bearings.

·       Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

·       Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and parts used.

·       Assist in equipment installations and upgrades.

·       Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.

·       Collaborate with plant operators and other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

·       High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

·       2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a quarry or mining environment.

·       Strong knowledge of crushing and screening equipment.

·       Proficient in welding, cutting, and fabrication.

·       Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

·       Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols.

·       Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.

Preferred Skills:

·       Certification in welding or industrial maintenance.

·       Experience with PLCs and basic electrical troubleshooting.

·       Knowledge of lubrication systems and hydraulic circuits.

Work Environment:

  •     Outdoor and indoor work in a Aggregates Plant or quarry environment.
  •     Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
  •     Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
