Position Summary

The Regional Communications & Marketing Coordinator supports the Region President by leading and executing high-impact communications and marketing initiatives that strengthen alignment, clarity, and engagement across the region. This role serves as a trusted communications advisor while also providing operational and administrative support to ensure priorities, messaging, and initiatives move forward efficiently.

This position is ideal for an experienced communications professional who enjoys being close to the business, translating strategy into clear messaging, and balancing hands-on execution with organizational support.

 

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Marketing (Primary Focus)

  • Develop and execute regional communications aligned with company brand, values, and enterprise strategy
  • Draft, edit, and manage internal communications including announcements, updates, presentations, talking points, and leadership messaging
  • Coordinator with area Communications Specialists to ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across regional messaging
  • Support marketing initiatives including campaigns, regional storytelling, community engagement, and employee communications
  • Identify communication gaps and proactively recommend solutions to improve understanding, engagement, and alignment
  • Ensure messaging is timely, accurate, and appropriate for varied audiences (employees, Coordinators, community stakeholders)
  • Coordinate with the Communications Manager to align regional efforts with division-wide strategy

Strategic & Advisory Support

  • Serve as a communications thought Coordinator to the Region President
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and written summaries in advance of meetings and events
  • Help translate regional priorities into clear, actionable communication plans
  • Track initiatives and follow through on key deliverables to support regional goals

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Provide organizational and administrative support to the Region President, including coordination, documentation, and follow-up
  • Assist with meeting preparation, agendas, notes, and action items
  • Support scheduling, logistics, and prioritization as needed to keep initiatives moving forward
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure information flows efficiently and commitments are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (required)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or public relations
  • Demonstrated experience supporting leaders or working closely with senior business stakeholders
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging by audience
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Comfortable balancing strategic communications work with hands-on operational support
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism
  • Experience in a multi-location or matrixed organization preferred

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 25 lbs. Physical agilities test may be required.
