Job Summary

Performs a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment.  Uses shop prints to fabricate steel molds for concrete in a safe and efficient manner.   

Job Responsibilities

• Fabrication of steel molds for concrete
• Fabrication of steel parts using various cutting equipment per specifications
• Use of hand and power tools and lifting equipment
• Preform welding operations including mig and arc welding
• Operation of forklift as required to support transportation of welding materials
• Drives truck to transport welding equipment and materials to points of use within the plant
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of welding/steel fabrication experience or equivalent training
• Ability to perform basic mathematical skills such as reading fractions and a tape measure
• Experience with industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, plasma cutter, and torches
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $24.09/hr
