Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products.  Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec. 

 

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Manager based at the Milton Office and covering Ontario’s Southwestern region.       

 

Reporting to the Vice-President, Sales, the Customer Service Manager will be mainly responsible for leading the Customer Service team to ensure Customer Satisfaction with proper development, implementation and execution of Sales policies and procedures.  

 

More specifically, he or she will directly supervise 3 Customers Service Coordinators and a total of about 10 team members including Dispatchers and Customers Services Representatives located in Milton, Bolton, Cambridge and Woodstock. The Manager is responsible to staff, coach, develop and train his team to deliver superior service in the areas of order taking; logistic and transportation; contract management; inventory control; price, contact and customer information and databases.  Finally, the manager will ensure constructive relationship with the sales, production and planning teams. 

    
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

•    College diploma in business administration or equivalent experience
•    A minimum of 5 years of Customer Service experience and 3 years in a supervisory role
•    Strong knowledge of best in class practices in the logistic and customer service fields 
•    Excellent leadership, teamwork and people skills 
•    Superior problem solving and decisions making capabilities
•    Analytical mind
•    Initiative an autonomy
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computers 
•    English spoken and written
