Position: Parts/Warehouse Coordinator
Location: Milton
Start Date: June 2025
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely receipt of parts, fuel and consumables
- Monitor warehouse operations and contents by establishing and following inventory control procedures/protocols
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts
- Not only maintains organization of warehouse, but also able to identify opportunities for improvement
- Identify and find new opportunities to improve safety and inventory control procedures
- Maintain SAP master data for the PM module (Equipment, Functional Locations, PMs, Inventories)
- Source parts from multiple vendors and prepare requisitions etc.
- Pick up parts and or deliver them to repair shops
- Support the onsite maintenance and maintenance group for the preventative maintenance program
- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, tracking parts, and ensuring timely restocking.
- Order Processing: Placing and processing orders, verifying shipments, and ensuring accurate invoices.
- Supplier Relations: Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery times, and quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all parts orders, including delivery dates and costs.
- Physical Inventory: Conducting physical inventory checks and ensuring proper storage of parts.
- Communication: Communicating effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Assist and support Site Manager(s) with special projects and company initiatives, as required
- Other job duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to deal with changing priorities daily and multi-tasked orientated
- Safety oriented
- Must have a valid “G” license
- Solver with the ability to innovate and improve processes
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Skilled with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with ERP software (SAP) strongly desired
- Demonstrated warehouse or mtc, experience with progressive responsibility in a warehouse or mtc. role
- Experience in the aggregate or heavy industry, manufacturing, mobile equipment or high-volume logistics preferred
- Execute parts inventory management processes to include conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, receiving, coordinating parts pick up and delivery as well as stocking inventories
- Responsible for parts room organization and cleanliness
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Responsible for managing parts obsolescence
- Strong attention to detail
- Processing of invoices
