Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products.  Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec. 

We are currently looking for Press Operators at our newly equipped Milton plant.

Salary:  $26.16 – $29.16 per hour 
   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safety Oriented
• Operation of various automated production equipment.
• Complete quality and production duties following the quality manual.
• Set-up product changes 
• Optimize cycle time of machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in machine & plant clean-up. 
• Maintain a clean work area.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as machine operator
• Strong mechanical ability, reading of measuring tools, use of basic hand/power tools.
• Teamwork oriented, initiative; responsible, able to react, to be precise; methodical
• Use of Microsoft Word & Excel an asset.
• Fluent in written & reading English.
• Must have an excellent attendance record
