Position Overview
This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of an End Dump Truck, to safely and productively move and remove snow from various locations.
**Day shift differential will be an additional $5/per hour on top of an employee’s regular rate of pay.**
**Night shift differential will be an additional $10/per hour on top of an employee’s regular rate of pay.**
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Operate an End Dump Truck safely and efficiently.
- Knowing how to operate a Truck in all weather conditions. (Snow, Ice, Rain)
- Able to operate an End Dump Truck in confined areas, safely.
- Ability to maneuver and back safely in all weather conditions.
- Must be dependable and reliable.
- Hours will vary depending on job needs and weather conditions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively over the company radio system.
- Other duties as outlined by Supervisor.

- Must be a current employee of Idaho Material & Construction.
- Previous experience in snow removal is preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Use of proper PPE for all weather conditions.
- Must possess a current and valid Class A CDL & DOT Medical card

- HEAVY LIFTING – of extremely awkward parts and equipment up to75 lbs. from floor to waist
- AWKWARD POSITIONS – getting to and from both sitting and kneeling on the ground
- FLEXIBILITY – awkward reaches
- BALANCE – including standing and walking on extremely slick and uneven surfaces while carrying.
- VISION – 20/40 corrected vision to see moving safety hazards, moving equipment, vehicles, and obstructions
- HEARING – corrected to hear verbal safety warnings and instructions from coworkers
