POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple project managers, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects. This position sets the strategic direction for project management practices, drives process improvements, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. The Manager PM/E collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Develop and implement project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all projects.
- Define clear project goals, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with executive leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring measurable outcomes and strategic alignment.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a dynamic team of project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous professional growth through coaching, training, and performance optimization.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple, high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives, adherence to timelines, and achievement of quality standards.
- Establish project goals, objectives, and success criteria in partnership with stakeholders.
- Manage multimillion-dollar budgets, strategically allocate resources, and monitor financial performance to guarantee cost-effective project delivery and maximize ROI - implement corrective actions as needed.
- Proactively identify risks, develop robust mitigation strategies, and resolve issues swiftly to safeguard project timelines and outcomes.
- Deliver concise and timely updates through insightful reports and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing transparency on project status, progress, and strategic implications.
- Cultivate a high-performance PMO environment by driving process enhancements, leveraging emerging technologies, and promoting a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
- Uphold organizational policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations, ensuring all projects meet compliance standards and ethical practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly desired.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
- Demonstrated success in implementing project management frameworks and driving organizational change.

- Computer Literacy: Strong computer skills, including expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word), HCSS, Bid2Win, Paydirt, and Primavera.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to change.
- Professionalism: Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.

- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk over variable terrain; pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical.
