PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Applicant must be a team player willing to help find solutions, detailed and supportive for all Milling, Paving, and Civil Construction projects.

 

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Review timecards and pay classifications.
  • Input required fields into scheduling platform.
  • Verify project #, phase #, plant location, client, product type.
  • Resource for crew members for laptops and cell phones.
  • Maintain OSHA 10 cards plus schedule training.
  • Scheduler for all training sessions (technical & safety).
  • Creating Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain construction inventory (safety equipment).
  • Support Safety Professional.
  • Maintain CBYD dig numbers and expiration dates.
  • Preparing various reports as needed.
  • Assist with hire / layoff forms, toolbox safety information, record keeping.
  • Record keeping for all Safety meetings.
  • Work side by side with Operations and Project Managers.
    • Collaboration with Transportation & Logistics for hourly trucking.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma is required.
  • High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior construction administrative work is preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Standard working week - 40 hours per week.
  • Overtime may be required based on operational requirements.

Other Requirements

  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical.

 

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

 

Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and construction areas as outlined by OSHA, MSHA, and state agencies.  Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position:  Hardhat, safety glasses, face shield, reinforced toed shoes, hand protection, respirator, air monitor, reflective safety vest, and hearing protection.
