Position: Terminal Operator II
Reports to: Terminal Manager
Shift: Monday – Saturday, day shift
Pay: $20/hour

What you’ll be contributing:
The Terminal Operator 2 will complete daily loading, unloading, administration and safety requirements on site. They will also actively participate in site maintenance and upkeep to drive the 5s and “make it better” programs. The Terminal Operator 2 will actively engage with customers to ensure that we are providing a solid customer experience on site. THe terminal Operator 2 will be able to operate all mobile equipment on site effectively and complete basic maintenance functions.
- Gains full understanding and demonstrate adherence to the safety program
- Loads trucks as per the daily schedule utilizing the onsite systems
- Unloads product as per the daily schedule utilizing the onsite system
- Handles inquiries and orders for customers and sales personnel
- Maintains shipping logs, prepares bills of lading, and calculates split-load tonnages based on a customer's instructions
- Completes independently all safety checks and audits on site
- Maintains supply point and 5S standards
- Operates mobile equipment safely and efficiently on site
- Completes basic maintenance of equipment on site
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- High school graduation or equivalent is required
- Independently proficient with company apps for site emails, safety incident reporting, completing training and other programs
- Received internal or external certification for Rail Conductor, Barge and Truck Safety as per site requirements
- Received internal or external certification for use of onsite mobile equipment as per site requirements
- Demonstrate the safe operations of site equipment
What to expect in a cement environment:
Work to be performed in a shop environment as well as outdoor exposure throughout the plant. Mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise requires compliance with specified safety guidelines and procedures. Exposure to high elevations of up to 250 feet in height. Exposure to all weather conditions. Normal operation of mobile equipment may result in jarring and vibratory exposure.
