Position Overview


This position will coordinate benefit systems, plans, and programs within CRH Americas, and functions as a liaison between vendors and the local Benefit Administrators to provide support on eligibility, enrollment, coverage, troubleshooting, and other benefits data matters.  Align the HRIS system and benefits-related modules for the company.   Perform various audit to ensure data integrity.  This position will be based in the Ogden, UT office.


Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


  • Maintain a strong familiarity and understanding of all group Benefit Plan Designs (401k, Health, Rx, Dental, Vision, Disability Plans and Life Insurance)
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and compliance related to Benefit Plans (ERISA, Cafeteria Plan Rules, COBRA, HIPAA)
  • Maintain human resource and benefits management system, software & databases.
  • Analyze and audit HRIS performance system, managing user accounts, and resolving issues.
  • Oversee and maintain optimal function, development, and maintenance of the HRIS system and benefits-related modules.
  • Provide support and develop relationships with local and regional Benefits/HR administrators, and provide training as needed.
  • Manage BenAdmin permissions, access, personalization, and similar access.
  • Assist with managing auditing functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, and reports.
  • Review and audit admin access to PSW and Benefitsolver systems (set-ups, changes, deletes)
  • Ensure appropriate periodic audits of benefits system processes and procedures are followed to reduce inconsistent data.
  • Assist with external vendor data transfers, research, audits, reporting & testing.
  • Assist in coordination with designated Consulting firm, develop and coordinate effective employee benefits communication materials with regard to Open Enrollment, New Hires and Wellness.
  • Be the benefits resource to answer questions and resolve issues.
  • Assist with claims inquiries and issues with various vendors.
  • Assist in development and presentations for the BenAdmin meetings and trainings.
  • Always maintain professional demeanor while representing the company. 
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
  • Other duties as directed by management.







  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related discipline
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience working in an analytical role in either finance/benefits/compensation or HR
  • Experience administering compensation or benefits preferred
  • MS Word/Excel expertise.



Work Requirements


  • Must be 18 years in age or older

  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required



Knowledge/Skill Requirements


  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of HRIS and benefits-related systems.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of employee benefit plans and compliance
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage expectations when dealing with policy exception requests and heightened sense of awareness around precedence setting when dealing with exception requests
  • Knowledge of business analysis tools.
