Position Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for providing support to the sales team and customers; by being customer oriented, assertive, well organized, and goal oriented. Relationship skills are critical to this position with the ability to work with internal and external clients at all levels in an organization. They should have detailed knowledge of products and services being offered and ensure that products and services consistently meet client needs. 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)


  • Provides sales quotations and responds to requests for proposals, verify sales tickets and pricing for customers.
  • Manage administrative duties to include full detailed reports and status updates meeting established deadlines and objectives.
  • Take the customer orders in a detailed, timely and professional manner and record accurate delivery and product information on the order.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to developing sales and marketing programs to effectively and efficiently reach sales goals.
  • Must be aware of special jobsite conditions that require specific trucks, spacing, slump requirements, etc.
  • Maintaining adequate levels of product knowledge
  • Providing a client progress summary to management recapping what stage of engagement you are in with customers each week
  • Performing other duties as assigned



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience
A college degree or equivalent experience with customer service, marketing, or sales skills.


Work Requirements

  • Must be 18 years in age or older. 
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check. 
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. 
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. 
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. 
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

  • Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and ability to present themselves professionally.
  • A proven track record in exceeding targets through exceptional people management; 
  • Communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Strong level of proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Must be able to work independently and with groups.
  • Must be able to work under time constraints as needed.

  • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Able to safely drive a vehicle for long periods of time.


Work Environment


  • Standard office environment.
  • Tempo is fast-paced with deadlines.
  • The noise level in some areas of the work environment may be moderate.
