Summary:
The Communications Coordinator identifies and develops compelling stories that highlight our people, culture, milestones and impact across internal and external channels. This position has a keen eye for storytelling, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for connecting audiences through engaging content. The position also provides administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team.
What you’ll be contributing:
- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Discovers and develops stories from across the organization that bring our mission, values, and work to life.
- Collaborates with teams, departments, and individuals to uncover interesting initiatives, milestones, and employee spotlights for both internal and external use.
- Writes and edits content for a variety of formats, including intranet posts, website updates, newsletters, social media, etc.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to plan and deliver effective employee communications that inform, inspire, and engage.
- Coordinates content calendars and ensures timely delivery of communication campaigns.
- Maintains brand voice and messaging consistency across all materials.
- Monitors and analyzes performance of content across platforms to inform future storytelling efforts.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Minimum 4 Year – Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 4 Years of experience in content development and an administrative role supporting a team.
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with digital tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills and natural curiosity to seek out stories and build relationship across the organization
- Ability to make sound independent judgments
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, SharePoint, and Forms
- Domestic Travel up to 25%
