Summary:

 

The Regional Director of Human Resources develops a high-engagement culture to help drive business success and build relationships with business partners in a collaborative environment. This position supports their respective region within the company. The position serves as the HR management expert providing leadership, communications, and oversight to ensure that the business is in compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations. The Regional Director of Human Resources coaches and mentors the plant HR Managers to continue to be integral business partners providing a high level of customer service throughout the organization

 

What you’ll be contributing: 

 

  • Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines. 
  • Promotes and follows all aspects of safety guidelines and participates in meetings.
  • Supports talent management strategy, identifies leadership competencies, conducts gap analysis, and collaborates with the leadership team to develop a talent pipeline.
  • Coordinates and organizes annual Talent Review/Succession Planning process and materials.
  • Works with the leadership team to ensure effective initiatives to support engagement, inclusion and diversity, and continuous improvements.
  • Provides coaching and support in the creation and execution of Individual Development Plans.
  • Oversees employee relations issues (terminations, performance issues, complaints, lawsuits, discrimination, conflict, counseling, etc.) and counsels employees and managers.
  • Supports and implements staffing strategies with Talent Acquisition Manager to attract top talent, improves bench strength, and markets company as an "Employer of Choice."
  • Establishes credibility and rapport with stakeholders ranging from hourly employees to executives.
  • Acts as a change agent throughout the organization, promotes teamwork and interface with all employees on a continual basis.
  • Trains staff on topics such as job interviews, performance reviews, harassment, alcohol and drug policy, etc.
  • Supports and implements leadership development training programs throughout the organization.
  • Manages the HR department budget.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor 

 

To succeed in this position, you will need:

 

  • Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc. 
  • Minimum 4 Year - Bacehlor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Graduate Degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Minimum 10 years ofexpereince in Human Reources,Talent Management, Leadership capacity or related field. 
  • Ability to simultaneously and effectively handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to inspire and develop staff
  • Ability to make decisions and to exercise sound judgment in arriving at a conclusion
  • Ability to lead, direct and manage organizations, programs and people
  • Ability to perform, organize and prioritize work independently
  • Ability to be friendly and service-oriented
  • Knowledge of HRIS system.
  • Ability to use computer programs to input, store, and retrieve data as well as to generate reports and documentation used in related projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to coordinate and develop innovative strategies and recommendations for initiating and establishing goals
  • Ability to get work done through others using effective influencing skills, delegation, scheduling, and time management practices.
  • International and Domestic Travel up to 25% 

 

Compensation:

 

  • Compensation: $151,400.00 - $185,100.00 USD
  • Eligible for yearly bonus
