Position Overview
Looking for an accounting intern to begin part time immediately and full time during the summer. Will be working closely with management and operations on a macro-economic environment of Western NY and Company analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in balance sheet account reconciliations
- Aid accounting staff in month-end close process
- Complete necessary journal entries as required
- Cash log maintenance
- Data entry work as required
- Ad Hoc projects as assigned
- Scanning/organizing account reconciliations & journal entries
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Demonstrate a motivated attitude with strong work ethic
- Be computer literate in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
- Employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Qualified undergraduate student enrolled in one of the following degrees or related programs: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
