Position Overview
Reporting to the Procurement manager this role will support Operations to ensure timely submission of purchase orders for on-time delivery of goods. At times will have to work with multiple suppliers based on availability and pricing.
Pay Range: $20-$23 / Hour
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Prepare and submit purchase orders
- Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve invoice and receipt discrepancies
- Drive adoption of sourced programs
- Arrange for the proper transportation of purchased products as needed
- Support efforts to identify and evaluate new or alternative suppliers
- Ensure suppliers are compliant with required insurance documentation
- Collaborate and negotiate internally and externally
- Ensure all activities within the procurement process are followed in accordance with best practice policies and procedures
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
- Experience with procurement tools, processes and systems preferred
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
