Our ready-mix plants are searching for driven, safety-minded professionals to help us keep our facilities running at its best. Compensation
·         Pay Rate: $23–$26 per hour, based on your experience and skill set
Your Role
As a core member of our maintenance team, you’ll work closely with the foreperson to ensure our ready-mix plants remain a safe, efficient, and compliant place to work. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to show your expertise.
·         Maintain and service our plants equipment, climbing platforms and landings as needed
·         Demonstrate proficiency with hand and power tools; welding skills are a big plus
·         Perform essential groundwork: cleaning, repairing conveyor belts and screens, and more
·         Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and man lifts
·         Complete clean-up assignments using hand tools and work safely around moving equipment
·         Perform pre-operational checks and routine servicing on mobile equipment
·         Safely clean with water, avoiding unsafe conditions near electrical equipment
·         Keep leadership informed of maintenance needs or safety concerns
·         Be proactive about environmental safety and compliance in your work area
·         Communicate clearly with co-workers, using standardized hand signals and maintaining eye contact
·         Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
·         Assist in training and mentoring less-experienced team members
·         Take on other key duties as assigned—every day is different!
What We’re Looking For
·         High school diploma or GED required
·         Prior experience in plant or construction maintenance preferred
·         Must be at least 18 years old
·         Able to complete all required training within 90 days of hire
·         Pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
·         Strict commitment to safety in all environments
·         Flexibility to travel and work nights or weekends if needed
·         Comfortable using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
Your Skills
·         Machine lubrication and greasing motors/gearboxes
·         Repairing conveyor belts and other plant systems
·         Safe shoveling and lifting techniques
·         Welding, plumbing, and electrical abilities highly valued
·         Keen attention to workplace hazards and ability to perform thorough safety checks
Work Environment & Physical Demands
·         Rotating shifts of 8–12 hours, including nights and weekends as required
·         Regular walking, standing, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs unassisted)
·         Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions
·         Use of respirators and hearing protection in applicable areas
