The Mix Handler is responsible for moving buckets of “mix” to the production cells: polymer concrete boxes, covers, and pads. The Mix Handler keeps the caster supplied with mix, as needed, to eliminate waiting.There is a $1500.00 sign-on bonus.  $750.00 is given after 90 days of employment and the remaining $750.00 is given after 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow All Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies and Guidelines
• Actively Participate in Company’s Continuous Improvement Programs
• Ability to read and interpret mixer scale
• Identify safety hazards in the work area
• Perform TPM checklist daily on the mixer
• Rotate buckets as needed, keeping the “acceptable” buckets and discarding the others
• Assist with daily mixing of the aggregate, multiple times per shift
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong attention to details
• Basic math skills
• Good Time Management
• Good Communicator
• Must be able to stand & walking for long durations, up to 10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
• Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment
