Job Summary

 

Responsible for the overall management of one (1) distribution site in Tampa, FL.  Coordinate efforts with Customer Services, Sales and Logistics to ensure proper service and distribution of products to the end customer. 

 

  • Support customer service functions as needed
  • Responsible for being the Safety Champion and ensuring that all training is completed and up to date
  • Establish, maintain and negotiate pricing and list specials
  • Forecast and analyze all customer business as required
  • Manage material allocation against customer orders
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Lead and manage cross functional inventory team in physical and cycle count inventories
  • Review and manage product line
  • Provide customer service support and coordinate policy and procedures involving business transactions
  • Provide technical product information
  • Provide resolutions to plant complaints
  • Supervise management of material shipments
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum two year degree in business or related field or equivalent in experience, training or education.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field or position
  • Knowledge of brick industry, including manufacturing process and requirements
  • Technical and structural knowledge of building requirements
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to plan and achieve long-term goals
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and computer skills
