PURPOSE:
The Capital Projects Manager is responsible to lead large scale organic capital investment projects from cradle to grave. To be successful, the Capital Projects Manager will liaise with OpCo and other team leaders to ensure timely execution of the full cycle of project planning through to execution.
May travel to various locations across the Northeast.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensures the integration of sound project management principles and practices into all projects.
- Working with the leadership team, develops strategic project rational, design, and development, including change management plans.
- Ensures project scopes, team responsibilities, milestone dates, and the procurement strategy are clearly stated for all assigned projects.
- Stewards project to ensure project objectives regarding safety, schedule, budget, scope, compliance, and quality are met through metrics and benchmarking.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to track and effectively communicate on key performance indicators relating to project updates and overall project management.
- Working with the procurement teams, manages multiple vendor relationships across the Division relating to ongoing projects.
- Lead large scale organic capital investment process from cradle to grave, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
- Prepare and update project cost estimates and assist management teams with the preparation of Capex application documents.
- Coach or assist the project leaders throughout this process and allow them to take the lead in their respective projects.
- Effectively communicates issues and recommends strategies and tactics.
- Prepare and present management proposals & related presentation materials.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

- Must have a valid driver’s license and safely drive a vehicle.
