Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Corporate Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS) Program Manager to lead the development and sustainment of the organization’s EHSS standards, programs, digital tools, and corporate EHSS evaluation process. This position will be responsible for EHSS project management efforts while partnering with EHSS and organizational leaders to drive continuous improvement. This position will report to the Corporate EHS&S department.

Jon Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Develop, implement, and sustain execution of all core EHSS standards, including assessments, inspections, training, and associated actions
  • Manage multiple high-level systems, create internal EHSS programs/standards adhering to all regulations, and drive EHSS regulatory compliance
  • Own EHSS project management efforts to ensure all key initiatives align with strategic objectives, achieve key results, and remain on target
  • Oversee general effectiveness of internal EHSS standards and regulatory compliance by conducting comprehensive internal evaluations and assessments through our EHSS Excellence Evaluation process (E3) to verify compliance issues are fully communicated and understood by senior management, operations, and EHSS
  • Lead the E3 (audit) program - coordinate efforts to plan and execute the audit schedule in collaboration local, area and regional leadership teams
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure EHSS considerations are integrated into business decisions
  • Own the development and sustainment of enterprise digital Compliance Management System (CMS) to assure consistent execution of all EHSS compliance requirements
  • Develop data driven initiatives supporting IPG’s short and long-term strategies
  • Develop and deliver on business objectives, KPIs, and team goals to drive EHSS performance across the organization
  • Assist with onboarding new EHSS professionals across the organization, as needed
  • Identify opportunities to standardize EHSS policies/procedures/training across sites to deliver EHSS process efficiencies
  • Identify and Implement EHSS improvement and efficiency opportunities across the organization
  • Provide oversight of the design, engineering, construction and launch of large-scale capital expenditure and green field projects, as required
  • Develop best practice sharing and learning culture with emphasis on implementation across all business units
  • This role requires an experienced EHSS leader and ground up experience in developing and implementing complex EHSS programs
  • The ability to work with autonomy, develop positive relationships across stakeholders, and interact with local officials/regulatory agencies
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public always
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
  • Valid Driver’s License

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in EHS, Science or Engineering related fields or relevant experience
  • 8+ Years in EHSS and/or Manufacturing with EHSS responsibility
  • Excellent project management skillset with experience managing multiple high impact projects simultaneously and ensuring regulatory compliance against all agencies
  • Proven experience in large-scale EHSS operations, working across multiple sites, influencing various levels of management, and delivering improved performance
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who will drive results and take ownership of corporate EHSS programs and systems
  • Excellent communication skills able to reach across the various functional departments to facilitate seamless integration
  • Highly collaborative team player who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including third-party vendors
  • Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 (required) and CFR 1926 regulations (preferred)
  • Experience facilitating/leading meetings and planning workshops with both internal departments and leaders of companies being acquired for the purpose of planning and finding solutions to business challenges to align the team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint and preferably Smartsheet, Riskonnect and Tableau for analyzing, organizing, visualizing, tracking, reporting and communicating
  • Nationally recognized Safety and Health Certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH)
  • Data Analytical Experience
  • Experience working within a matrixed global organization, leading multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams
  • Sustainability awareness and environmental focused organization experience

Compensation

 

$110-130K base salary with additional bonus program
