Job Summary
The National Account Director is responsible for developing and driving strategic alignment with our Tier 1 ISP’s and key account holders inside the Communications market. The National Account Director will lead our team of National Account Managers to bring the Voice of the Customer back into our business, while anticipating and identifying market trends and customer technical needs. The Director will also work to ensure the team is focused on Oldcastle products being specified and preferred for use by asset owners, engineering firms and installation contractors for key project opportunities.
The National Account Director will work closely and partner with the Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure revenue, margin and customer satisfaction goals are met. This position will report to the General Manager of Engineered Broadband.

Job Responsibilities
- The National Account Director will lead a team focused on engagement with our Tier 1 ISP’s and other key account holders. This can include our large distribution customers, as well as future hyperscale partners/customers.
- Develop the key relationships needed to expand upon customer’s project and development opportunities.
- Proactively identify sales & growth opportunities within our key customers to align with budgeted revenue growth objectives.
- Ensure the development of key customer account plans and specific sales opportunities to align with our sales strategy that will deliver on the company’s growth objectives & strategies.
- Ensure the understanding and development of our innovative solutions to our key customers and stakeholders. This may include product education, technical support, and/or value propositions.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to key customers, consultant engineering firms, industry groups, and other influencers through multiple communication channels.
- Work closely with and influence our Marketing Department to effectively promote our products, solutions, and value proposition.
Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years professional experience in technical sales & marketing, product engineering, project management, and/or field application of products.
- Experience with infrastructure construction in the Communications industry.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and managing multiple projects.
- Ability to travel up to 50% nationwide
