The Sales Enablement Manager will play an important role in our commercial transformation to standardize and optimize our go-to-market strategies and commercial capabilities.  This role will both oversee a portfolio, as well as directly manage projects to standardize the sales process, implement commercial standards, and develop value-centric solutions to drive Commercial effectiveness. 




  • Manage direct and indirect project team members to implement the Commercial framework and measure adoption.  This role will have 1 commercial analyst and need to work cross-functionally to develop training programs and business dashboards. 


  • Commercial Enablement
    • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process standardization, improvements and training opportunities.  Works closely with commercial management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.  Assist Commercial management in understanding process bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and process adherence.
    • Manage a Sales Training Strategy to create, deliver, reinforce commercial standards through repeatable and scalable training.
    • Develop deep understanding of organization's Commercial procedures, practices, processes, systems, technology, and culture to incorporate into training initiatives, driving cross-functional alignment around process and management of data
    • Enhance customer facing processes to improve the customer experience and increase the perception that OI is “easy to do business with”
    • Prepare the organization to accelerate profitable growth, by standardizing sales data, processes and tools, supporting a center of excellence to sustain best practices.
    • Develop and manage the 12-18 month Sales Enablement roadmap
    • Work with Commercial Leadership to execute key enablement programs and provide value-added thought partnership


  • Commercial Opportunities
    • Analyze transactional and commercial data to measure adoption and drive sustainable change
    • Shadow the commercial team and sales reps in the field to identify current state and identify opportunities. 




  • Process Improvement gained while working in an organization undergoing a significant transformation or culture shift
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Manage multiple projects directly or indirectly, prioritizing needs and resources, and manage milestones to drive results
  • Analyze commercial performance to identify opportunities
  • Experience rolling out transformational programs including readiness strategy and adoption tracking
  • A growth mindset, with energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others





  • Minimum of 5 years of experience driving sales process/methodology, process improvement and/or enablement programs cross-functionally in a customer centric environment
  • Experience leading a Commercial, Sales or Service team a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management experience; certification a plus
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and experience with sales tools in CRM ( and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles
