About the role
We're currently looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Masonry Support Engineers to join our Engineering team based in Buggenhout, Belgium
The role is responsible for preparing and coordinating multiple technical masonry projects
Main responsibilities
In this role you'll:
- Convert engineering designs into detailed workshop drawings.
- Carefully compile bills of materials and place the required materials orders on time, in line with quoted project lead times
- Organise and manage subcontracting activities when required, to ensure smooth production of the end product.
- Support engineering by answering questions and where possible, manage entire projects from beginning to end.
- Cross check the working drawings produced by both you and your colleagues to avoid errors.
- Collaborate with project engineers, work planners, production supervisors and production planners to achieve optimal schedules and anticipate project needs in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues to ensure the smooth progress of projects.
Experience & qualifications
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- To preferably have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- To be experienced in purchasing, logistics and/or supply chain processes (desirable)
- To be familiar with ERP systems.
- To be a team player with an accurate and autonomous approach to your work.
- Developed communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CAD systems and an interest in new operational technologies.
- To be fluent in Dutch, French and English at a professional level
