Job Summary

In this newly created role, we are currently looking for 2 Regional Service Center Managers, one leading the West Region and one leading the East Region. It is preferred that the leader is based somewhere within their region. This role requires 50% travel. The Regional Service Center Manager provides oversight and guidance for the Service Centers in the Region in Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® (OBE). This is a key leadership position and is responsible for profitable growth with a focus on sales and overall operations. The demonstrated ability to increase market share and provide day to day leadership and direction by maximizing financial performance will be essential performance metrics. Development of people within the business and creating and maintaining strong customer relationships are fundamental expectations of this key leadership role.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and clearly communicate strategies, goals, and objectives that will foster an environment of continuous improvement for the company’s performance and increase productivity to achieve growth in sales, increase market share, and improve financial performance.
  • Lead the Sales, Operations and other key support functions to effectively deliver overall business growth and financial performance across all Service Centers in the Region.
  • Review and monitor performance against operating plans, budget and strategic plans to develop and initiate action plans to meet these objectives by driving a culture of accountability.
  • Full P&L responsibility of the business unit, including forecasting and achievement; lead, direct, and coordinate activities to achieve and increase sales and obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations to delight customers and maximize profits.
  • Attract, develop and retain top talent while driving a culture of safety, accountability and collaboration.
  • Foster continuous individual development to build management depth and further enhance the technical and managerial skills of the team.
  • Achieve excellent Environmental and Health & Safety performance driving a “Zero Harm” work environment.
  • Collaborate with OpEx and ComEx leaders to implement proper disciplines and metrics within the region. 
  • Develop and leverage strong relationships with leaders at multiple levels within the OBE business.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Marketing or a related field plus a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive management experience in business, finance, sales and operations.
  • Must be able to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, distributors and all other commercial contacts.
  • Must be an effective communicator with logical, organized and tactical verbal, written, communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Requires strong analytical, organizational and managerial skills; strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
