Job Title - Team Leader
Location - Eastington
Job type - Permanent
Hours – 38 hrs

Reports to: Production Manager
Responsible for: Hydro Welders and Production Support

Job Summary
The Hydro International Eastington site is the fulfilment centre for much of the Group’s orders from clients globally for stainless steel fabrications.

As such the Team Leader role is a pivotal one, requiring strong leadership and technical fabrication experience to lead activities within the workshop. Fabrication timelines are often measured in days and ensuring OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery is paramount to our continued success.

Your primary responsibility will be to supervise the day-to-day operations of the production team while fostering an environment conducive to achieving core objectives in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Job Requirements
What attributes is a successful candidate likely to have?

  • Although prior team leader experience is not mandatory, the ability to lead, mentor, and solve problems within a team setting is essential.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and familiarity with fabrication, particularly in stainless steel and TIG welding.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation within the production team.
  • We continue to develop the potential of not only our Facility but our team-a positive approach to change and the benefits this brings will remain a key part to this role.
  • Forklift licence, Working at Height, First aider, Fire Marshall qualifications will all be seen as positives, although relevant training will be provided.
