JOB TITLE:                            Tool Crib Coordinator (EPMP642-Maintenance Specialist/Production Planner)

                                                                  

DEPARTMENT:                    Maintenance

 

REPORTS TO:                       Engineering Manager

 

Basic Function:  Tool Crib Coordinator is an important and rapid paced position which directly supports the production, engineering and maintenance. He or She will manage the plant inventory database using E-Maint/SAP software. They will organize, store and distribute plant inventory, spare parts and tools. They will design and maintain a storeroom area, to promote efficiency and accuracy relative to spare parts management. This position will work very closely with management, engineering and maintenance to define proper procedures for adding and removing parts, designing and implementing a reordering process, designing and implementing receiving and shipping methods, and designing and implementing an internal delivery process. He or She will be responsible for implementing SAP relative to inventory and spare parts.

  • Ability to LEAD by example
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of common automation tools
  • Ability to identify inventory flow issues to maximize efficiency.
  • Be an organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects, prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Can Safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail. Must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; enjoys working in a team
  • Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to accurately measure using a ruler/scale.
  • Ability to identify industrial hardware and equipment; electrical and mechanical.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and quickly change task based on need.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all plant safety guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Maintain the storeroom organization and inventory
  • Inventory restocks, quoting and ordering.
  • Coordinate annual tool calibrations
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized storeroom area.
  • Work self-sufficiently.
  • Manage E-Maint and SAP systems for inventory and spare parts.
  • Train employees on the usage of inventory management systems.
  • Stock and maintain storage locations.
  • Implement and Maintain 5S standards.
  • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of work using SAP.
  • Minimum (10) years of coordinating storeroom functions.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
