We are seeking a full-time, night shift, Maintenance Lead, to work in our Maintenance Department of our Moorestown, NJ facility. The Lead is responsible to supervise and train production personnel in the daily operations during their shift in a manner consistent with overall Company policies and procedures, as well as, ensuring the Maintenance or repair of equipment is done safely, correctly, & timely.


Position is Mon- Fri with every other Saturday, 9pm to 7am with a starting rate of $30.00/ hour.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Electrical and mechanical plant maintenance including the repair and installation of machinery and equipment as assigned and directed by supervisor
•    Ensure plant equipment is operating within the appropriate operating capabilities
•    Troubleshoot to determine appropriate repairs including the replacement of defective parts
•    Assemble, install, test, and inspect machines and equipment as needed
•    Assist with the completion of all required preventative and routine maintenance of equipment and machinery
•    Assist in upgrading equipment including fabrication of parts
•    Maintain a documented record of all repairs and materials
•    Ability to work independently
•    All other duties as assigned
•    Safety of department members and OSHA compliance including: Lock Out /Tag Out, electrical safety, cranes and hoists, fall protection, Haz Mat, etc.
•    Repair of equipment, planning predictive and preventive maintenance for all equipment and buildings and support the installation of new equipment, on time and on budget.
•    Ensure that the maintenance team works diligently, around the clock as required, to address equipment downtime/failure regardless of the hour of the day or weekend.
•    Work closely with the Shift Supervisor/ Maintenance Manager to schedule work that is required by the maintenance team to optimize productivity.
•    Determine critical spare parts required, by piece of equipment, by department, and ensure that they are in stock, keeping monthly spending under control and within budget. Work with maintenance manager to order parts as required.
•    Assist in managing the maintenance team to retain top performers. Mentor and coach to train or improve performance, assist in documenting poor performance and creating performance improvement plans for poor performers. 
•    Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules, are essential functions of your job

•    Available to work off shifts--initial training during 1st shift and upon completion of training the employee will work night shift and every other Saturday
•    Experience operating grinders; drill press; saws; lathes; milling machines; misc. machines; alter and repair fixtures and tools; sharpening tools.
•    Knowledge and comprehension of English including reading, writing, and speaking
•    Knowledge of basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications.
•    Ability to diagnose and repair electric, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
•    Strong troubleshooting skills
•    Ability to fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment
•    Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as defined by OSHA and the company



•    Prior lead experience
•    Lean Six Sigma experience 
•    Proficient PLC programming & troubleshooting skills
•    TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance)
•    Electrical background
•    Mechanical background
•    Universal maintenance (well rounded)
•    Welding experience
•    Strong on Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's)
•    Knowledge of control circuit wiring 24VDC is a plus
•    Ability to read drawings, European schematics is a plus
•    Glass plant experience would be a plus
•    Industrial electrical experience 
•    Sufficient visual acuity to read machine and equipment blueprints, plant layout, equipment manuals and schematics
