Job Description Summary

 

This is a skilled position responsible for facilitating external sales of Readymix concrete. The sales representative is responsible for maintaining high quality communications between our existing customer base, future customers, and the operating departments.The successful candidate will develop future sales opportunities through quotations, customer communication, relationship building, and project tracking. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

  • Efficiently manage company external sales with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations.
  • Maintain customer base through relationship building and developing loyalty.
  • Grow market share through effective sales strategies.
  • Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environmental protection. Report any problems to the Direct Supervisor, Safety Manager, Human Resources Manager, or General Manager.
  • Helping Ready Mix Sales Manager with making sound decisions concerning external sales opportunities.
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting and communication.
  • Assure that job tasks are performed in accordance with industry best practices and requirements of the company.
  • Assure that all customer quotations and communication records are maintained.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

 

  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to independently drive results.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and be flexible.
  • Ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check before being employed.

 

 

Education/Experience

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Sales experience

 

 

Salary and Benefits: 

-This position offers an Hourly pay of $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
