Summary:

 

The Business Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a single system that supports business analytics across multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Leveraging this and other systems, the Business Analyst is responsible for leading critical analysis of business performance and plan/forecast, including pricing analytics, pricing strategy, sales volumes, and share; and to support other activities related to network optimization and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).

 

What you’ll be contributing: 

 

  • Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
  • Integrate data from multiple disparate systems (e.g., ERPs, CRMs, etc.) to generate synergies through comprehensive reports leading to strategic recommendations and presentations
  • Develop analytical tools, standardized reporting, dashboards, executable strategies, and assist leadership in the continuous improvement of business processes.
  • Create and manage digital data repositories as needed.
  • Develop and utilize tools to provide analytics, reporting, and scenario modeling.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for senior management.
  • Review and understand financial documents, concepts, and how to impact them (e.g., EBITDA, Cash Flow, RONA, Margins)
  • Promote and follow all aspects of safety guidelines and participate in meetings as required.
  • Support network optimization process to mitigate costs and maximize service and EBITDA.
  • Support the continuous execution of a robust Sales &Operations Plan (S&OP), using optimization software. Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.
  • Develop capacity simulation processes to run sensitivity analysis.
  • Define and initiate projects based on the needs of the business, independently carrying out necessary analyses, and developing strategies with the cooperation of other stakeholders to drive changes, improve performance, and track progress.
  • Recognize trends and needs related to products, customers, and target markets.
  • Support the reporting and entry of our value capture synergies for operations and commercial teams.
  • Develop slide decks that communicate the results of analyses with context.
  • Support the commercial teams in analyzing market intelligence and financials for the cement platform.
  • Foster relationships with product management, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

To succeed in this position, you will need:

 

  • Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc. 
  • Minimum 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in engineering, management, business, marketing, sales, or related areas. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in scientific and/or analytical-related
  • Preferred 3 years of experience developing business analytics systems and dashboards in Power BI or Qlik
  • Proficient in English, with written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects.
  • Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis utilizing Microsoft applications, database/SQL query logic, and other data analysis tools such as Power BI and Qlik.

  • Excellent oral and presentation skills - Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message

 

Compensation:

 

  • Compensation: $86,000.00 - $105,100.00
  • Eligible for yearly bonus
