Programme Manager - SAP SuccessFactors

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a major SuccessFactors implementation that will transform how our organisation manages, develops, and empowers its people on a contract basis (Hybrid working). This is a high‑impact role at the heart of our digital HR evolution—bringing together technology, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement to deliver a modern, seamless employee experience.
The role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the HRIS implementation, ensuring the project is completed on time and to the agreed scope. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships across HR and IT, and serve as the primary point of contact for all project communications. Key responsibilities include managing project plans and timelines, mitigating risks and issues, overseeing the configuration and deployment of SuccessFactors modules and WFS and driving successful user adoption and change management.
Main responsibilities
In this role you'll:
- Oversee project delivery & execution
- Assume overall responsibility for delivering the SuccessFactors implementation on time and to the agreed scope
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and critical path activities
- Own risk and issue management
- Provide team leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical developers, and change management specialists
- Coordinate with HR and IT
- Manage resource allocation and team performance
Experience & qualifications
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Cross‑Workstream Alignment: A proven ability to drive alignment across technology, process, people, and operating‑model workstreams to ensure a consistent and integrated programme outcome.
- Scope Management & Governance Control: A developed capability to manage programme scope, maintain scope discipline, and ensure all workstreams operate within established controls and governance frameworks.
- Programme & Delivery Leadership capability: Previous demonstrable experience steering complex SAP SuccessFactors, multi‑phase programmes in flight, managing design, build, test, deployment, and hyper‑care activities.
- Risk, Issue & Dependency Management experience: To be skilled in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating delivery risks while managing inter‑workstream dependencies and critical milestones.
- Stakeholder & Executive Engagement: To be able to influence senior leaders, facilitate decision‑making forums, and provide clear, concise updates to governance bodies.
- SuccessFactors/Tier 1 HRIS Expertise: A developed understanding of end‑to‑end HRIS Tier 1/SuccessFactors implementation cycles, integration points, and HR process implications.
- Operating Model & Process Transformation: The ability to connect technology changes with revised HR processes, role definitions, and service delivery impacts.
