Pay: $15.00-$19.00 an hour, depending on experience.

Job Description Summary
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for taking customer orders for aggregates and asphalt in a detailed, timely and professional manner, and recording accurate billing, delivery and product information on that order. This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of Customer Service functions including, but not limited to, the following:
- Take and Process Customer Orders for aggregates and asphalt
- Ensure accurate addresses and delivery instructions are on the order
- Ensure accurate contact data including name and phone number of the person placing the order is recorded
- Enter orders into ticketing system for billing and delivery
- Prepare quotes and coordinate pricing with Sales Department
- Communicate customer needs with point of sale locations
- Coordinate with the Sales, Production and Quality Control departments to ensure the proper products are sold to meet the customer needs and specifications
- Ensure proper account and billing information is used when entering orders
- Coordinate with dispatch to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
- Notify customers in advance of late deliveries or delays in service
- Organize and send requested reports and/or order information to customers
- Keep the Customer Service/Dispatch Manager and Sales Department informed of problems or concerns throughout the day that may require their knowledge or attention
- Take sales orders from sales representatives and customers by phone or other means and ensure compliance with all applicable SOX requirements
- Run credit card and check approvals
- Distribute e-mailed customer purchase orders
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Candidate must be energetic with the ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere that focuses on customer needs
- Strong computer skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision
- Demonstrate good performance, safety and attendance
- Demonstrate a willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Demonstrates ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Dispatchers, Drivers and other employees
- Demonstrate the ability to conform to and maintain MSHA, OSHA, DOT and all other company or governmental state rules and regulations.
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
- Drug screen and background check required
Education/Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
Preferences
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Prior customer service experience
